Anochi Kai - by Candeo Colors

Do you like glittery, shade shifting duochomes? Because I certainly do! Anochi Kai is a purple jelly, consisting of a glorious duochrome effect of purple/pink and gold. It is really really stunning. It is a polish that needs building, so don't expect your first coat to give you any indication of its true beauty.

Anochi, Kai, Candeo, purple, glitter, gold, duochome, nail, polish, jelly,

The image above was taken outside, in the shade. I love how even though the formula base colour is purple, it still manages to shift between various hues of mauve/purple and blue. The glitter in the formula, gives it an edgy, glistening finish that reminds me of the much loved Orly Cosmic FX collection.

This image is taken under direct halogen lighting. What a difference! You can really see how the duochrome shifts so dramatically with the change of light. It's like looking at a completely different polish - and I love that!

I have to say that even though I am one of few polish fanatics, who isn't really a fan of jellies - I really like this polish. As I mentioned earlier, Anochi Kay - like all jellies need to be built up. Because I'm not the most patient person, this can be trying on me sometimes. So make sure you apply light coats, but more of them and you will achieve a wonderful result.

If you're not familiar with Candeo Colors, all polishes are 3-free (dibutyl phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde and toluene). While this is the only polish I own, there is plenty more from their range which can be purchased from Llarowe for $11. Check them out, they're stunning!!
